I don't have a date when a telephone service was established at Cora Lynn, however it was before 1936 as the following correspondence from the P.M.G. was received at at Berwick Shire Council meeting in November 1936.

The hours were extended again in 1954 as the the Koo Wee Rup Sun reports. The Exchange operated from 8.00am on Monday mornings to 1.00pm on Saturday afternoon; Sundays and Public Holidays 9.00am to 11am.
